Hello there, readers!
This page is dedicated to VHS Revival’s favourite podcasts, shows we certainly recommend you should check out yourself. There are so many casts out there nowadays, it has become difficult to know where to look, but if you enjoy reading our site then you should certainly enjoy listening to the following productions, which each share similar passions and tread similar ground. I will list our recommendations in alphabetical order, so feel free to explore them at your leisure.
Over to you, friends…
Cult Film Face Off
Here is a Podcast with a twist that we always love listening to. In a world crammed with laborious and meandering productions, the boys at Cultfilmfaceoff are delightfully compendius, offering two reviews in little more than a half hour, and ultimately pitting those movies against each other to crown an overall champion.
So if you’ve ever been plagued by the burning question Turner and Hooch or K-9, the fellas at cultfilmfaceoff are there to soothe your ills, while American Ninja vs. Kickboxer and Cannibal Holocaust vs Cannibal Ferox are sure to please genre fans no end.
You can experience their show in both video and audio formats.
Let battle commence!

The DVD Bunker
Another knowledgeable podcast with energy to burn, the charismatic duo from The DVD Bunker certainly know their stuff. Clocking in at around 45 minutes per episode, their video-based podcasts are short and sweet, with a love for movies that proves hugely infectious.
Check out their review of the vastly underrated Frailty, a much deserved celebration of the late Bill Paxton.
You won’t regret it.
Rogue Riffers is all about the camaraderie of its three hosts. Jack, Lad and Dave produce a wonderfully insouciant show packed with droll humour and peculiar insights into the world of cult movies. They have a particular penchant for 80s horror, but are not afraid to branch out, covering a variety of decades and genres in their own inimitable style.
Some of our favourite episodes include Phantasm (1979) and the infamous cross-dress flick Sleepaway Camp (1983)
Get on over there!
Movies with Ron
Movies with Ron is a wonderfully produced show bursting with the kind of comic energy that compliments its source material perfectly. These guys ooze passion for movies of all kinds, and their shows are guaranteed to entertain from start to finish. Never has the state of Florida shone so brightly.
With more F-bombs than Goodfellas and Casino combined, if you like your language colourful, then you’ll certainly love their weekly exploits.
Parental discretion essential.
The Undead Wookie
Some podcasts just make your Sunday, and that is certainly the case with The Undead Wookie. Relatively new to the scene, host Huw Lloyd has come a long way in a very short time, with fantastic production values and a format which has added secondary features to the main attraction.
His decision to co-host episodes with different guests keeps the show fresh with variety, while regular cohort Leighton Winston proves a much welcome addition.
Fun, informative and always insightful, Huw possesses the best radio voice outside of radio.
